What does PC-Bug Fixer charge for fixing bugs.
Who is PC-Bug Fixer and what do they do.
PC-Bug Fixer started as a Business in Bankstown (a suburb of Sydney ) in NSW (New South Wales) Australia, on the 15 November 1995.
It was a simple case of being fed up with the yahoos, who kept stuffing up my PC's hardware and software setup and configuration while I was involved in other aspects of the IT industry. It was always someone else's fault and the problems, instead of being fixed, kept getting bigger. So here I am, doing what should have been done in the first place, fixing the problems and not blaming others, that is to say not all of them.
Let's face it, I have yet to find a software program that works 100%. Particularly an operating system that has no bugs in it (on the wish list).
One day, we will find a program publisher with integrity who when they release a new OS or other software application program, it will have been tested, will work at least 99% correctly and won't ask us to pay, to fix their problems.
We, *Sell new computers, *Upgrade computers, *Repair computers, *Sell Software, Perform *Computer maintenance and *Specialist software installations.
We do *Network Installations LAN and WAN, also *Broadband Cable and ADSL Installations for Home and Small to Medium size Business Clients. We also have *Maintenance Plans for Business Clients.
Our Service Charges are as follows:
Base Rate, $59.40 per hour (Incl GST) (Base means, You bring the PC to our workshop)
Site Rate, Service Call Fee $176.00 plus $59.40 per hour or part thereof (Incl GST) (Site means, We come to your Office or Home)
Phone Support Call Rate $59.40 per hour (Incl GST) (You call us, or + Add phone call charges)
Annual Maintenance Agreement and Other Support Service "At Base" Rates.
* Help Desk Phone Support x 1 PC - 12 month Support = $ 240.00
- 2 to 4 PC - 12 month Support = $ 180.00 per PC.
- 5 to 10 PC - 12 month Support = $ 120.00 per PC. / 11 + PC's Call for quote.
* Help Desk Phone support is provided from 8 am to 8 pm Monday to Saturday and 9 am to 5 pm Sunday, except Public Holidays.Maintenance Agreement (MA) PC Work Station Service. = $ 356.40 per PC Station.
Service includes;-
- Installation of all known Operating System patches and updates,
- All Application Software updates and patches for existing software on PC Station,
- Simplification of Shortcut Menu structure,
- Installation of latest Free/Shareware System Utility Software (*#)
- Custom configuration of all installed software, updates and patches,
- Custom Optimization (defragmentation) of Hard Disk Files and Folders,
- Hardware Testing of, Hard Disk, Memory, Graphic Card, #CD and #Floppy Disks
(# includes lens and head cleaning)
(*#) "WinZip" file compression utility, "TweakDun" local DNS and TCP/IP optimizer utility, "Adobe Acrobat Reader" pdf file reader, "Atomic Timer" PC time synchroniser, "Ad-aware" spyware detection program, "BigFix" system program update checker, "TweakUI" task optimizer, "GetRight" internet download utility, "Cacheman" Memory optimization utility.Custom Software Installation and Hard Disk File System Structuring.
For all Software purchased with New PC purchased from PC-Bug Fixer = $ 356.40.
Includes;
- Installation of all known Operating System patches and updates,

- Simplification of Shortcut Menu structure,
- Installation of latest Free System Utility Software (*#)
- Custom configuration of all installed software, updates and patches,
- Custom Optimization (defragmentation) of Hard Disk Files and Folders,This work performed on PC System not purchased from PC-Bug Fixer = $ 712.80 (**)
(**) covers 6 items of Software, including Operating System Software.All Work performed at our workshop. If the client requires the work to be performed at their Home or Office, the standard "Call Fee" is charged in addition to the cost of any other service or installation work.
Broadband ADSL or Cable Internet connections are required for all Site service and installation work. If broadband internet connection is not available at the client's location additional time charges may be incurred for any service time exceeding 10 hours of the above installation or other service work.Our Business Hours are,
Monday to Friday; 8 am to 7 pm. Saturday, Sunday and most Public Holidays; 9 am to 4 pmWe accept the following Credit Cards Through PayPal - Mastercard, Visa, Amex, Discover and eCheck.
